A New Chapter 💛

After months of soul-searching—and some very hard days—I’ve made the decision to close Stars Hollow Yarns, effective immediately. 

This is not a decision I made lightly. SHY has been my heart and home for nearly a decade. I opened the shop to create a space that fostered creativity, connection, and care. And together, we did that. You did that. I’m endlessly grateful. 

Behind the Scenes

The past year has brought serious challenges. While I’ve done my best to keep the wheels turning, I need to take a real pause—for my family, for my health, and for whatever comes next. 

Here’s What Happens From Here:

🧶 Outstanding Orders

I’ll continue fulfilling all open orders placed to date, as long as we have the yarn in stock. You’ll hear from me directly if your order needs a substitution or refund. 

📦 Pre-Orders

I’ll be reaching out individually to anyone with a pre-order. In some cases, I may still be able to fulfill it (depending on the vendor). If not, I’ll issue a full refund. If you'd like, click here to email me about your pre-order.

🎁 Gift Cards

If you have a gift card you’d like to use, I’d love to help you redeem it while inventory lasts. Since Shopify doesn’t give me access to gift card holder info, I’ll need you to reach out directly. Click here to email me about redeeming your gift card and I’ll send you the password to access the site and instructions for browsing what’s available. 

What’s Next? 🌱 

 While the retail shop is closing, I don't feel like Stars Hollow Yarns is done yet. I’m giving myself time to rest, reflect, and reimagine. I’ve been exploring the idea of a Maker Space—one focused more on connection, creativity, and community than on retail. If that’s something you'd be excited to support, I’d love to hear from you.
