The side by side shawl trend has been holding strong in the fiber world because knitters love making them! We love side by side shawls for these reasons and more! Some of the other perks are — you can use all of your yarn without leftovers, as the second half of the shawl is a mirror image of the first. They can be worn over the shoulders like a traditional triangle shawl, but also look fabulous worn around the neck and styled more like a scarf.
